Kingfishers

Welcome to Kingfishers!

Our teachers are Mrs Daniels (Monday - Thursday) and Mrs Cuthbert (Friday). 
Mrs Cardy, Mrs Hubbard and Mrs Sadler will support the class throughout the week.  

In this class, we pride ourselves on being friendly, caring and enthusiastic learners who work as a team. 

Times Tables 

Children should practise their times tables every week.  There are tasks set on Times Table Rock Stars.  By the end of the year, children should be able to confidently recall their x2, x5, x10, x3, x4, x6 and x8.

Reading

Children should be reading as often as possible – ideally every day.  Please record this in their reading records.

PE

We have PE on a Monday.  Children will need  to wear their full PE kit to school on this day. 

Our other PE session will be on a Tuesday.  Year 2 will have a PE lesson at school while Year 3s will go to Stowmarket Leisure Centre for a weekly swimming lesson.   

Classroom Bits and Bobs

Children should have a named water bottle with them in the classroom which they can drink during the day and refill when required.  

As the weather changes, they will need a waterproof coat, hat, scarf and gloves to wear at lunch and playtime.
