Severe Weather Arrangements

In case of severe weather, we will keep you informed of what is happening by text messages as early as possible first thing in the morning. We are obliged to make a decision by 7 am in order to inform the Local Authority.

Please make sure that the office has your main contact number on Arbor and that you inform us of any changes immediately, otherwise you will not get the messages.

Alternatively, you can look on the Local Authority website but please remember that there will be a delay between us informing the Emergency Officer that we are closed, and it being reflected on the website. Radio Suffolk also announces school closures but, again, texts direct to you are much quicker.

If at all possible, the school will always try to remain open, but we have to be sure that it is safe to do so.
